Name at least five GOTHIC bands: The Cure, Christian Death, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus
Name something that may not fit traditional criteria for being gothic but you may consider gothic anyway: Being very artistic and romantic.
How did the subculture begin? (DETAILS! The more accurate detail, the better, not just one or two sentences.) It began in 1979, when the Bauhaus released "Bela Lugosi's Dead". Some might argue. The Doors were described gothic, along with Joy Division. The goth culture was originally an offshoot of punk.
What do you think of "related" subcultures (cyber, rivethead, graver)? I don't understand the cybrer culture...what's it all about?
What do you think of the "gother-than-thou" attitude some represent? I think's it's kind of a lame attitude.
How did you get into the subculture? I don't really know.
Do you prefer old-school or new-school Goth? Why? Old school. The music was better (Bauhuas, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death, etc.), and I like the clothes better too. No silly Tripp pants.
Why do you consider yourself Gothic? I guess because I like to look on the darker sides of life.
Complete this sentence: Labels are.... For soup cans.
